It is Thursday and preparations are wrapping up. Our "Mog R" car has been checked over thrice. Clothes are selected and packing is beginning. Also to be packed is foul weather gear, car cleaning supplies, computer, camera, tools, tape and bailing wire. Our map bag is overflowing with maps of Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Ontario and New York state. Wow, so much stuff and so little space in the car.
We depart Friday mid-day for the short hop from our home to the starting point of Port Clinton, OH . We're lucky in that regard. Some of our gang are already underway, coming from the east coast. A group from southern and southeastern Ohio pull out Friday morning. We all expect to gather for the first time as a group Friday late afternoon for our first "Noggin". The excitement of the 18 day trip is building. Stay tuned...
